The Bahai gardens are located in the top center of Haifa and it is the center of the Bahai religion around the world. Haifa is a port city with the largest transportation port of Israel. In the past the lower part of the city was the location where the city evolved in the first place. Haifa is the third largest city in Israel. In 1905 the first train left the first train station in east Haifa for Damascus which helped a lot for the development of the city. Now days it has few train stations along the port line and it has the world shortest underground train (and the only one in Israel). The Technion (HIT - Haifa institute of technology) is located in Haifa.
